1. Material Options

304/304L Austenitic Stainless Steel

Properties: 18% Cr, 8% Ni. Excellent general corrosion resistance and low-temperature ductility. Bend radius ≥2× tube diameter.

Applications: Food processing coils, refrigeration evaporators.

 

316/316L Molybdenum-Enhanced Stainless Steel

Properties: 2-3% Mo improves chloride resistance (Cl⁻≤8000 ppm). Ideal for seawater cooling coils and chemical reactors.

Applications: Marine and acidic/alkaline media environments.

 

Duplex Steel 2205 (S31803)

Properties: Austenitic-ferritic structure. Yield strength ≥450 MPa, resists stress corrosion cracking (SCC).

Applications: High-pressure heat exchangers for oil/gas fields, acidic fluid circulation systems.

 

High-Temperature Alloy 800H/801H

Properties: 30% Ni, 20% Cr. Oxidation resistance ≤1100°C, superior anti-carburization.

Applications: Pyrolysis furnace coils, gas turbine exhaust heat exchangers.

ASTM A312/A269: Dimensional tolerance (±0.15mm) and mechanical properties for seamless coils.

EN 10216-5: EU pressure equipment standard, limits wall thinning at bends to ≤10%.

ASME SB-622: Specifies grain size (ASTM 5-8) for high-temperature alloy coils.

Acid Pickling & Passivation (AP)

Process: Nitric-hydrofluoric acid treatment achieves Ra ≤1.6μm, salt spray resistance ≥500 hours.

Electropolishing (EP)

Process: Electrochemical polishing to Ra ≤0.1μm, microbial residue <0.05 CFU/cm² (ASME BPE SF-2).

Applications: Biopharmaceutical and dairy-grade coils, SIP-compatible.

Bright Annealing (BA)

Process: Hydrogen-protected annealing for oxide-free surface (Ra ≤0.4μm).

Applications: Semiconductor cooling coils, ultra-pure water systems.

Sandblasting & Coating

Process: Alumina grit blasting (Ra 3.2-6.3μm) + PTFE/ceramic coating (-50°C to 260°C).

Applications: Aggressive media (e.g., concentrated H₂SO₄, HF) transfer coils.

Temperature Range:

Cryogenic (-196°C to 200°C): 304L/316L (avoids brittle fracture).
