1.Material Options
304/304L Austenitic Stainless Steel
- Composition: 18% Cr, 8% Ni. Resists weak acids, alkalis, and atmospheric corrosion. Excellent post-weld ductility.
- Applications: Heat exchanger coils for food processing, refrigeration evaporators. Minimum bend radius ≥2D (tube diameter).
316/316L Molybdenum-Enhanced Stainless Steel
- Composition: 2-3% Mo. Chloride resistance up to 5000 ppm (PREN ≥25).
- Applications: Seawater cooling coils, chemical reactor circulation lines. Operating temperature: -50°C to 450°C.
Duplex Steel 2205 (S31803)
- Composition: Austenitic-ferritic dual-phase structure. Yield strength ≥450 MPa, resists stress corrosion cracking (SCC).
