1. Material Options

1.​304/304L Austenitic Stainless Steel

  • Properties: 18% Cr, 8% Ni. Resists weak acids, alkalis, and atmospheric corrosion. Excellent formability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Applications: Architectural structures, food-grade pipelines. Operating temperature: -196°C to 400°C.

 

2.​316/316L Molybdenum-Enhanced Stainless Steel

  • Properties: 2-3% Mo improves chloride resistance (Cl⁻≤2000 ppm). Suitable for coastal and chemical environments.
  • Applications: Seawater desalination pipes, pharmaceutical equipment. Post-weld annealing not required.

 

3.​Duplex Steel 2205 (S32205)

  • Properties: Austenitic-ferritic structure. Yield strength ≥450 MPa, PREN ≥35. Resists stress corrosion and pitting.
  • Applications: Oil/gas gathering pipelines, high-salinity media transport.

 

​4.Special Alloys (904L, 6Mo)

  • Properties: High Ni/Mo content. Resists concentrated sulfuric/phosphoric acids and mixed acids. Max. temp. ≤600°C.
  • Applications: Chemical reactor liners, electroplating waste pipes.
